I'm really fond of the CK and Pat H tandem cos they used to be opponents in debate tournaments (UP vs ADMU) and also in Sir Sison's class, now they're teammates... :))

Chess Tournament, Block A placed 1st and receives 50pts!
Participants: Patrick and Ags
The game was really hard since we have to take turns alternately (boy1, boy2, girl1, girl2) and we were not allowed to discuss our plan/strategy to our partner. Buti na lang KAMI ni pat. Hahaha. Boyfriend and girlfriend allowed to nudge each other by knees.

Candice, Jan B. and Marru... our directors and stage managers

Andrew's Makeover for...

Thank you Law Student Gov't :))

Guy friend of Drew: "Man, why are you so... HOT?"

Ms. Freshman wanna-be's

Look how well Drew aka Andrea blends in with us girls

Ad against Anorexia. hehehe
Drew aka Giselle, 2nd runner-up Block A 50pts
Don't worry Mr. Lena, You'll always be Ms. Beautiful in everyone's eyes. Hahaha and that guy on your right, according to Tima, is wowed by you. "I think it's called the Coriolis effect..." PANALO ka!

Shirt making Game Block A 1st place, 50 pts
Participants: Marru and Ags
Okay, hahaha Believe me, we were all shocked. But maybe it's because of the ribbons, paint, glitters and spools.

What's wrong with our country today?! Tsk tsk... these are our future lawyers. :P The guy wearing this sleeveless pink top in the right was crowned Ms. Freshman 08. Hehe "and the price... it's negotiable..."

"Last but not the least, the over-all champion for the freshman week 2008... BLOCK A!"

Thank you again LSG :)

Also, thanks to Ma'am Beth for the breather and break, for going to Germany. Hehehe I doubt we (Block A, B and D) would participate this much if we have Persons...

Jobert Navallo congratulated me... okay, sige na nga... Block A. He congratulated our whole block when he talked to me. I shook hands with him. Hahaha. It's because of that young blood article our Nego prof in Legal Management sent to us... Sheesh. :D

So far, 3 na crush ko sa Malcolm. Dean Leonen, Sir Lumba and the guy in the preceding paragraph. What can I say, I'm into those intellectually stimulating guys. Sounds sensual. Haha.

Love you Pocholo. ^_^ v

We had our own Olympics for Persons
Date / Time : Wednesday, August 13, 2008 / 6:52:00 PM |

While the Olypics is taking place in Beijing and while (Godly!) Michael Phelps is winning his gold medals, we, the freshmen students of Ma'am Beth also have our own share of "swimming" through 93(97?) cases and endless provisions. In our "Olympics" it's not about taking home the gold... It's about passing the ORAL Exam in Persons, surviving and not being included in the smoke-up list. And I'm sooooo glad it's (almost) over! Over for 3/4 of the class anyway, including Poch and I.

I wore my lucky shirt last Monday when I had my orals. It has never failed me before and it's good to say it worked for me again. I picked a set of very easy questions and was able to answer all of them. Ma'am Beth commented Kae and I did very well. On the other hand, the easy questions made me sad and uneasy. It's not because I am making yabang that I can answer even the hardest question, well, it's because of some other things. I shall keep the reasons to myself but if you're interested, you can ask me. :))

Well, thanks to my study group and coach!!! Pocholo--I so love you boyfriend, CK, Jam, Eds, Stella and everyone else who asked me Persons questions!

The effect of Persons oral exam for me and Patrizzi: LAGNAT. But no! this won't stop us from attending Consti the next day. If you can't beat sir in his own game, then at least have a perfect attendance. Hehehe

Coach and student, but on this day, the student repays her coach! ;) Thanks Lou for the pics.

Tuesday Batch 1: Erick, Marru, Lou, Bambi and Pocholo

Poch and I got our ID today! At last. Haha I'll show it when I have time.

Last week, I had this vision that after studying insanely for Persons, I would be able to relax after my exam last Monday. Tapos na Persons! But like those window tv-shopping ads, here comes Ma'am Beth saying "But wait, THERE'S MORE!" Recitation again for Persons on Friday, including 16 cases, several readings and a handful of provisions.

I sooo Love Persons and Ma'am Beth!!! :) (really. this is not a sarcastic comment.)

And it almost breaks me in two...
Date / Time : Sunday, August 03, 2008 / 9:46:00 PM |

Money, effort and time wasted all for nothing, not even a single fruit of victory. Oh well, that's just another typical day for people like me. People like me who gives everything but gets nothing.

I honestly thought it would be different this time, I mean, I waited for this. I sacrificed my time even though God knows I have better things to do with it. The effort of braving through the heavy rain, my shoes drowning with my feet, but thought it was for everything. Was it? Oh no, it's all for nothing. The money was nothing if only it was for something. What more is there to give when all I can give, I gave. But still...

UST lost. :'''''(

I should have just made a Bill.
I should have just made that Bill.
I should have just made this Bill I'm now cramming.

Or better yet, Pocholo and I should've just watched "A Very Special Love," which, according to my blockmates, is worth it.
